Android: coming soon

A native Android app is coming soon.

The Kiwi app for iPhone and iPad: coming soon to the App Store

In the app, coming soon
We’re building a native Kiwi Care app for iPhone and iPad, for iOS and iPadOS 17 or later.

  • Keep recording when the Wi-Fi drops: notes, health readings and incidents are saved on the phone and send themselves when you're back online. Medicines always need a connection, so a dose can never be signed twice.
  • Shortcuts: press and hold the Kiwi icon, or ask Siri, to start a new note or a medicine round. Shortcuts never show a resident’s name.
  • Photos: photos for care notes and body maps go straight into Kiwi, not the phone’s camera roll.
  • Accessibility: works with VoiceOver, and key screens adjust to larger text.

Questions

Things managers ask.

Is Kiwi a UK care app?

Yes. Kiwi is care management software made for UK residential, nursing, learning disability, mental health and supported living services. It works in a modern web browser on iPhone, iPad and computers today, and a native app for iPhone and iPad is coming soon.

Do staff need to install anything?

No. Kiwi works in a modern web browser on iPhone, iPad and computers, and on iPhone and iPad staff can add it to the Home Screen so it opens full-screen.

Is there a Kiwi app on the App Store?

Not yet. A native Kiwi Care app for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later) is coming soon. Until then, Kiwi works in the browser on the same devices.

Does Kiwi work offline?

In the coming iPhone and iPad app, yes for records: notes, health readings and incidents are saved on the phone and send themselves when you're back online. Medicines always need a connection, so a dose can never be signed twice. In the browser, Kiwi needs a connection to open pages and save records.

Can staff use Face ID or Touch ID?

In the browser, staff can choose to sign in with Face ID or Touch ID on their own device, after setting it up with their password. Passwords still work, and on days a home sets a daily shift password, staff still need it. In the coming iPhone and iPad app, Face ID or Touch ID unlocks Kiwi after it locks itself, with the device passcode as a backup.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. An Android app is coming soon.

Which browsers does Kiwi work in?

Kiwi works in modern web browsers, and there's nothing to install.
