Logging, handovers and 1:1

Quick daily logs.
Kiwi writes the sentence.

Carers tap chips, Kiwi writes a proper sentence with the time, the amounts and the person's name. Photos and body maps attach in place. Managers design the categories in the log builder, so the record matches how your home actually works.

Chips that write proper sentences

Food and drink, personal care, continence, mood, activities, health concerns, accidents, social leave, night checks. Tap "offered 300ml" and "drank most" and Kiwi writes "Jordan was offered 300ml of water and drank 250ml of it". Fluids total automatically into the monitoring grid.

  • Seven departments, forty-plus categories
  • Several answers per question where it makes sense
  • Photos from the phone, up to six per log

Body maps and photos, in place

For skin, wounds, injuries and falls, tap the body outline to place numbered markers with notes. Photos are resized on the device and stripped of location data before they are stored. Everything prints on the care record.

Handovers, 1:1 and today-only access

Handovers carry low, important and critical flags; important and critical show "awaiting manager review" until a manager ticks them off. The 1:1 hourly logger is built for enhanced observations. Agency staff get today-only access that expires at midnight and never see history.

Questions

Things managers ask.

How long does a log take?

A few moments for most entries. The sentence is written for you, the time is stamped, the name is filled in.

Does Kiwi have a body map?

Yes. For skin, wounds, injuries and falls, staff tap a front and back body outline to place numbered markers with notes, and can add photos. Body maps are on daily logs and incident forms, and they print with the care record.

Can staff edit old logs?

Only with a permission a manager grants. Every change keeps the earlier version, with who changed it and when, and a log changed more than 24 hours after it was written must say why, and anyone who can see the record can open its history. Records are voided, never deleted.

Does it work on a phone?

Kiwi has a phone mode with a bottom tab bar and full-screen forms, an iPad mode, and the full desktop system.
