Kiwi is a trading name of ASIZA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY L.L.C S.O.C ("ASIZA", "we"), a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence 1561809, Department of Economy and Tourism; Dubai Chamber 2724428). Our registered office is Office 137, RAG Tower Business Centre, Al Barsha First, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. ASIZA owns and runs Kiwi.
We provide care home management software to care providers in the United Kingdom. Kiwi is hosted on servers in London.
For this website, our sales and marketing, and our own customer and billing records, we are the controller. For the care records our customers keep inside Kiwi, the customer is the controller and we are its processor.

Contact details you give us when you book a demo, start a trial or email us: name, organisation, role, email address, phone number and your message.
When you start a trial or subscription, Stripe collects your name, business name, phone number and billing address on our behalf. Payment card details are collected by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
Technical data: this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after 14 days. See our cookie policy.
We send business-to-business emails about Kiwi to UK care providers. We use only generic business email addresses (such as info@ or admin@) that care providers publish on their own websites, or that were given to us at events such as the Care Show. We use the public CQC register to find care providers and check their details. We email only limited companies, LLPs, public bodies and incorporated charities. We do not email sole traders or partnerships unless they have asked us to.
We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in telling care providers about Kiwi. Every email tells you who it is from and how to stop further emails. Reply "unsubscribe", or email privacy@kiwiapp.co, and we will stop. We keep a short suppression record so that we never email you again. We delete prospect details 2 years after the last contact from you.
Records about residents and staff that a care provider keeps in Kiwi are that provider's data. We process them only on the provider's instructions, under our data processing agreement. Each provider's data is held in a separate database on servers in London, United Kingdom. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we never sell it.
If you are a resident, relative or member of staff at a care home that uses Kiwi, please contact the care home about your records. If you contact us, we will pass your request to the care home.
Our data processing agreement forms part of our terms. It covers the subject matter and duration of processing, the nature and purpose, the types of personal data including special category health data, the obligations of both parties under UK GDPR Article 28, sub-processors, security measures, notifying the customer of a personal data breach without undue delay and within 72 hours, help with people's rights and impact assessments, international transfers, and deletion or return of data within 30 days of the end of the contract. Care records are stored in the UK (London). Email addresses used for sign-in and password emails are processed by our email provider, Brevo, in the EU.
ASIZA is based in the United Arab Emirates. Our named staff access Kiwi remotely from the UAE to develop, support and look after it. They do this only over encrypted connections, using individual keys and two-factor sign-in to our hosting account, and with only the access they need. All administrative access is logged. We do not keep copies of care records in the UAE, except when a customer asks us to prepare a copy of its data for handover, and then only until it is delivered.
Under UK data protection law, this remote access counts as an international transfer. The UK has not made adequacy regulations for the UAE, so we protect it with the UK International Data Transfer Agreement issued by the Information Commissioner, which forms part of our contract with each customer, together with a transfer risk assessment.
Some of our email suppliers process data outside the UK. Brevo and ImprovMX receive and send email in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Google LLC is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which UK law also recognises as adequate.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to how we use it. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will stop. Contact privacy@kiwiapp.co.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at privacy@kiwiapp.co. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome without undue delay. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
